Position Overview Canine To Five is seeking energetic dog lovers to work in our busy dog daycare and boarding facility in Commerce, MI. This role, called Pack Leaders, involves working in our indoor and outdoor playrooms to support dogs' wellbeing and safety. We are hiring full-time (30+ hrs/week) and part-time (20-30 hrs/week) Pack Leaders. No experience is necessary—just a positive attitude, strong work ethic, quick learning ability, and love for dogs! The role requires sound decision-making, enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to work independently in a loud, fast-paced environment. It is ideal for someone eager to learn about dog behavior and safety, with a good memory and love for dogs. Job Requirements Minimum age: 16 years Availability on weekends/holidays and ability to work 3-5 shifts (at least 20 hours/week) Detailed cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, walk, run, bend, and reach Basic computer skills Excellent decision-making, self-awareness, and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Genuine love for working with and caring for dogs Confidence around all breeds and sizes of dogs Exposure to odors, animal waste, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases Ability to handle high-stress situations in a high-energy environment Personal accountability regarding attendance, dress code, cell phone policy, etc. Positive attitude and engagement in daily operations Openness to coaching and learning new skills through feedback and training Year-round outdoor exposure, including extreme weather conditions Salary: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
