Job Details We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our client's dynamic finance team. This is a key leadership position that will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our company. The Controller will oversee all aspects of the financial systems, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management. The position requires a thorough understanding of financial accounting, month‑end close, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and more.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts. Analyze and present financial reports accurately and timely; communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization. Ensure systems for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.

Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.

Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning processes, administering and reviewing all financial plans and budgets.

Manage the general ledger system, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.

Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA or MBA preferred.

Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and management.

Strong knowledge of financial accounting, month‑end close, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and more.

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.

Strong problem‑solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
