About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Lead/Architect to design, implement, scale, secure, and manage resilient infrastructure solutions. This role is critical in shaping the strategic direction of our IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leading modernization initiatives across cloud, network, data center, end-user compute, workplace productivity, and AI environments. What you will do
Architecture & Strategy
Design and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure architecture. Define infrastructure standards, roadmaps, and best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Lead cross-functional infrastructure teams and mentor junior engineers. Collaborate with application, security, and business teams to align infrastructure with organizational needs. Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership. Project Delivery
Lead infrastructure projects including cloud migrations, upgrades, and transformations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Drive change management throughout the company to ensure adoption. Operations & Optimization
Oversee the performance, availability, scalability, and security of infrastructure systems. Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive maintenance initiatives. Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs). Who you are and what you bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 3-5 years in architecture or leadership role. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls). Experience with storage and backup solutions. Modernization practices such as Infrastructure as Code, CMDB, IT Asset Management. Familiarity with Workplace Productivity Solutions (Microsoft, Jira, JAMA). Experience with End Point Solutions (Windows, Mac, Smart Devices). Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Problem-solving skills focused on root cause analysis. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect Expert Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent VMware VCP ITIL Foundation or higher The base salary range for this position for Bay Area candidates is $130,000 to $190,000. For Texas candidates, it is $110,000 to $167,000. This salary range may be modified in the future. The starting pay will be determined based on skills, experience, education, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits. Questions?
