NERC

Compliance Specialist

with expertise in

NERC standards

to help us protect the backbone of our electric infrastructure. In this role, you’ll monitor regulatory requirements, support internal audits, and partner with operations and IT teams to ensure our critical systems remain both compliant and cyber-resilient. What You'll Do We are seeking applicants for a NERC Compliance Specialist. This person will support the NERC Compliance Programs for Wabash Valley Power Alliance ensuring that all NERC, MISO/PJM, and Regional Reliability Organization compliance data submittals are made in a timely manner.

In addition, you will manage the PRC-005 Maintenance and Testing Records and SigmaFlow database for applicant transmission and generation assets and serve as the primary NERC Compliance Contact for Member Cooperatives. You will also be responsible for: Serving as focal point for reporting and managing corrective actions associated with PRC-004 Miso Operations and Operations for generation and transmission assets, including the management of PRC-005/PRC-004 asset alarms. Assisting Sr. Manager of Compliance with the integration of additional NERC Registrations into the WVPA NERC Compliance Program. Serving as the Primary Compliance Focal Point for Member Cooperatives, assist with NERC and CIP Training, TADS/PJM Reporting, and be responsible to expand Internal Controls Program for WVPA. Assisting Director Sr. Manager of Compliance in informing Wabash Valley Board, Management, and relevant sub-committees on NERC Compliance issues Qualifications

Qualifications The ideal candidate for the NERC Compliance Specialist position will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field 3-5 years of experience in NERC Compliance Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and utility operations Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to generate effective solutions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven track record of achieving results in a compliance-focused environment High level of self-motivation and initiative Ability to work independently and as part of a team
