Regional Flatbed Truck Driver

Your role as a Truck Driver is pivotal in ensuring timely deliveries and the seamless operation of our logistics processes. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, you'll be responsible for transporting goods to various destinations. Duties: Safely operate flatbed trucks and Conestoga trailers for delivery. Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance and safety. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo deliveries. Follow all traffic laws and company regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatch about delivery schedules and potential issues. Keep the truck clean and well-maintained. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience with flatbed driving required. TWIC Card is preferred. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with at least two years of trucking experience. Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus. Prior experience in delivery driving is preferred. Knowledge of loading/unloading procedures for diverse cargo types. Proficient navigation skills using GPS systems and maps.
