You’ll use modern tools and procedures to deliver exceptional maintenance on diesel equipment and, at some locations, on our growing fleet of CNG trucks. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and the community Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and established safety procedures Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Over 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination Team Culture Team players who care about everyone in the shop Happy working independently and as part of a team Enjoy variety – every day provides a new challenge Determined problem solvers Physical Demands Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing Constantly standing, walking, grasping, and occasionally sitting and balancing Exposed to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and other occupational risks If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, then click ‘Apply now’ to start your tomorrow, today.
