Senior Director of Finance Join Pratt Miller, an Oshkosh Company, to serve as a key strategic and financial leader for our product development company in motorsports, defense, and mobility. As Senior Director of Finance, you will lead financial planning, reporting, controls, and performance management across our three business units—Defense, Motorsports, and Mobility—and partner with executive leadership to align our financial discipline with our innovation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Pratt Miller CEO and executive leadership to co‑develop and execute strategies that align with the segment’s innovation and enterprise objectives.

Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and Oshkosh Corporation policies.

Direct the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements, variance analyses, and performance dashboards.

Lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting for the segment.

Collaborate with Oshkosh Corporation and corporate finance peers to implement best practices and standardize processes.

Partner with business unit leaders to drive financial discipline, cost management, and operational excellence across programs.

Provide financial leadership for business case development, project monitoring, post‑project reviews, and financial accountability.

Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team, building enterprise capability through coaching, succession planning, and a culture of accountability.

Advance digital transformation through automation, analytics, and digital tools to enhance reporting accuracy and insight generation.

Oversee the coordination of internal and external audits and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control over financial reporting.

Comprehensive understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior‑level finance executive responsibility.

CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Familiarity with over‑time revenue recognition and accounting for government contracts (FAR and CAS compliance preferred).

Background in engineering, professional services, or manufacturing organizations with project‑based financial management experience.

U.S. citizenship required; security clearance preferred but not required.

Pay Range $148,300.00 – $274,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
