Our client is seeking a
Level 1 Windows Support
professional to provide front‑line IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other peripherals in a fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for technology who is looking to grow in their IT career. This is a hybrid position based in Cook County, IL.
Windows Support Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware to meet departmental SLAs.
Support employees via phone, email, remote tools, or in‑person interactions.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, virtual machines, smartphones, scanners, printers, and other peripherals.
Install and configure operating systems, applications, drivers, and system settings according to company standards.
Diagnose issues, determine root cause, and implement solutions that prevent recurrence.
Windows Support Qualifications and Skills
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
A+, Network+, Microsoft, or VMware certifications preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
Experience with Active Directory, domains, and group policies.
