About The Team & Role We’re building Rubrik Agent Cloud, the enterprise platform to monitor, govern, and remediate AI agents. Our team sits at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, and enterprise security, creating solutions that make it possible for organizations to operate production‑grade AI agents at scale.

What You’ll Do Lead and grow a world‑class cloud platform engineering team

Hire, mentor, and develop engineers who are passionate about building secure and scalable infrastructure.

Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Drive multi‑cloud strategy and platform governance

Define and evolve the cloud architecture spanning AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.

Establish and enforce standards for identity, policy, tagging, resource hierarchy, and lifecycle management.

Partner with InfoSec and Compliance to ensure security controls and audit readiness (SOC 2, FedRAMP, etc.).

Embed automation and efficiency into everything

Champion Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation (Flux, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).

Drive cost optimization, observability, and operational maturity across all environments.

Collaborate across teams and functions

Work closely with product, backend, and AI infrastructure teams to design deployment models that span customer and managed environments.

Partner with Security, Compliance, and SRE teams to integrate monitoring, incident response, and compliance frameworks.

Lead with vision and execution

Set clear objectives and technical direction aligned with the broader Agent Cloud mission.

Ensure high‑quality execution with operational rigor and a focus on measurable outcomes.

Experience You’ll Need

12+ years of experience in software or cloud infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership or engineering management roles.

Proven experience building and operating multi‑cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).

Strong understanding of IAM, Org/Project structures, policies, and access controls.

Deep familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform preferred) and modern DevOps automation.

Demonstrated success driving security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives at scale.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to partner effectively across engineering, security, and product teams.

Passion for mentorship, team growth, and technical excellence.

Compensation US Pay Range: $189,500—$284,300 USD. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The role is eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
