Job Summary As a Manager of Production Engineering, you will inspire, develop, coordinate, support and manage a team of Production Engineers to enable Rangeview’s vision of a modern manufacturing company. A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate determination, integrity, intellectual curiosity, empathy, technical capability, and a commitment to developing their team.
This position’s internal job code is Manager, Production Engineering. We are currently hiring for Level 4.
Responsibilities
Serve as the individual accountable for your Production Engineering team
Own the outcomes of process failures and improvement initiatives, always prioritizing personnel safety, product quality, and on‑time delivery
Define the team’s roadmap and both justify and advocate for the resources needed to succeed
Manage cross‑functional relationships to execute improvement opportunities, ensure alignment of priorities, and relentlessly drive down lead time and labor hours
Develop the data pipelines used to establish, monitor, and improve production metrics enveloping safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Drive production autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work processes, and implementing intelligent automation
Partner with peer teams to define strategy for implementing changes in response to changing market dynamics, factory optimization initiatives, customer needs, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (ABET accreditation required)
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries
3+ years of experience directly managing a team of engineers
Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
Experience aggregating and analyzing technical data to make objective, informed decisions
Preferred Skills/Experience
Demonstrated ability to scale production throughput
Strong understanding of WMS, MES, and ERP systems
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
Summary Pay Range
Level 4: $144,500‑$187,000
