Join the Arch Capital Group Ltd. as an Enterprise Data Architect, leading the data architecture function for Data Management to support a data‑driven and AI‑enabled organization. Key Responsibilities
Work with the Chief Data Architect to drive the enterprise data management function and roadmap, including current, target, and transition states, aligned with Arch Data & AI strategy. Maintain market solution architecture designs and playbooks for adoption of modern data warehousing technology such as Snowflake and strategic data platform & analytics capabilities. Ensure successful delivery of data management initiatives, collaborating with solution architects and data architects across projects. Own the target state enterprise data management platforms and architecture, managing transition from current state and introducing new capabilities through inception to adoption. Lead the Data Management Centre of Excellence covering all aspects of Data Management and tooling. Manage vendor relationships across all data management tooling. Steer and quantify the value of data platform transformations, shaping overall data management roadmaps with domain SMEs to provide a coherent view of data across Arch. Required Skills & Experience
Data architecture expertise with extensive experience delivering transformative programs with a large data management footprint. Experience in architecting and driving Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Access Management, and Data Privacy across a global enterprise. Proficient in modern data warehousing; solid technical understanding of cloud systems (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure services, dbtCloud, Collibra). Experience with modern data management tools and concepts, including ingestion, transformation, visualization, metadata management, and data mesh principles. Proven record of leading successful technical adoption of modern data management capabilities within an enterprise. Strong senior stakeholder communication skills, including executive communication. Base Salary and Location
Base salary ranges by location: North Carolina: $122,000 – $149,000/year Morristown, NJ: $142,000 – $173,000/year Jersey City, NJ; White Plains, NY: $157,000 – $180,000/year Seniority Level
