at the Family Medicine Center. The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
Core Job Responsibilities
Perform complete assessment data collection, under the supervision of an RN and/or provider, on all patients.
Assess and reassess pain. Educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
Observe and identify adverse changes in patient condition and notify appropriate RN and/or provider.
Maintain current knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
Interact professionally with patient and family. Involve patient and family in patient education.
Clean and operate equipment correctly.
Perform other duties as required.
Education / Experience Requirements
Current New York State Practical Nursing Registration.
CPR.
