$150,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Vice President of Finance A high-growth, venture-backed technology company is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Vice President of Finance to drive capital markets readiness, scale financial operations, and serve as a close partner to our CEO, COO, and board. This is a high-impact role responsible for full finance function ownership—from accounting to board reporting to capital allocation—in a fast-paced, venture-backed, and highly autonomous environment. What You'll Do:
Lead FP&A, capital strategy, investor materials, and reporting Own capital raise processes: modeling, diligence, deck creation, term sheets Collaborate cross-functionally with product, ops, and engineering Build and mentor a high-performing finance team Establish KPIs, optimize reporting, and prepare for potential liquidity events What We're Looking For:
Strong
technical accounting foundation , preferably from
Big 4 audit or transaction services 6–10 years of experience, ideally with a blend of: 2–4 years in
Big 4 (Audit or TAS) Exposure to
M&A , corporate development, or financial diligence Transition into
startup
or
growth-stage company
in a finance leadership capacity Demonstrated ownership of
board materials, capital raise support, budgeting, and financial systems Strong
operational orientation —you enjoy solving business problems, not just reporting them Ready for the
intensity and pace of in-office leadership (5 days/week) Must-Haves:
Strong investment banking or financial advisory foundation Experience in private equity or internal corporate development/FP&A Demonstrated leadership scaling startup or growth-stage finance orgs Willingness to work onsite 5 days/week in Denver Compensation:
