Advisory Solution Consultant – ServiceNow Join the team at ServiceNow to drive and support State and Local Solution Sales by providing technical consulting and solution positioning during sales cycles. This hands‑on role requires expertise in ServiceNow and cloud solutions, AI integration, and strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Support product sales as a technical and domain expert for client‑facing sales teams.

Lead discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations aligned with their needs.

Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.

Provide product‑management feedback on enhancements that address customer needs.

Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team quality and efficiency.

Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.

Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

7+ years of pre‑sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.

Experience with AI integration into work processes, decision‑making, or problem‑solving.

Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or similar cloud software solutions.

Collaboration experience with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.

Territory management skills, including pipeline building and partnership with Sales to guide execution excellence.

Understanding of State and Local Government requirements.

Ability to handle challenging customers and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Well organized and able to travel as necessary.

Compensation Base pay ranges from $131,925 to $217,725. Pay is based on geographic location and may include equity, variable/incentive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package (health plans, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) with match, ESPP, matching donations, flexible time away, and family leave).
