Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting
Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
** Exciting Opportunity to with a fast-growing Computer and Network Security Company seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to drive SEC reporting and technical accounting!
The role will also assist with acquisition-related accounting, valuation work, and integration activities when applicable. Support on various ad-hoc and project-based initiatives will be part of the role as well.
Qualifications
Approximately seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including several years in a large public accounting firm.
Experience working in a publicly traded company and familiarity with requirements for external reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Strong command of U.S. GAAP, internal control frameworks, and SEC reporting practices, along with experience drafting technical accounting analyses.
Familiarity with reporting and ERP tools such as Workiva, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 7 years of experience, with 3-4 years of Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
Prior public company experience in a similar role.
BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting, with MSA/MBA desirable.
Strong technical accounting background with a knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards, as well as experience with technical research and memos.
Experience with Workiva, NetSuite or similar external reporting systems.
