Shriners Children’s is the premier pediatric burn, orthopedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Full‑Time Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit.
This position is full-time nights, non‑exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range is $49.47–$74.21 per hour, determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
This position qualifies for the Shriners Children’s Nursing School Loan Forgiveness Program.
Responsibilities The qualified Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. In a collaborative, family‑centered care environment, the focus is on pediatric patients with orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Certification / Licensure
Licensed RN in state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) recognized by the American Heart Association required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recognized by the American Heart Association; obtain within 1 year of employment as required by the hospital.
2+ years of experience required. Pediatric, Orthopedic, and ICU experience is a plus.
