Role Overview BEPC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support our client’s Diagnostics operations. In this role, you will manage procurement activities for production materials, ensuring timely availability of components to maintain seamless manufacturing operations. You will use Oracle ERP, Agile, Qlik, and Excel to analyze supply needs, optimize material flow, and collaborate across departments to uphold quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage material procurement using MRP and Oracle ERP to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Create and manage purchase orders for approved components and services.

Communicate with suppliers regarding forecasts, open orders, quality concerns, and delivery schedules.

Negotiate costs and report on Purchase Price Variances (PPV) to Finance.

Proactively identify material constraints and develop contingency or alternate sourcing plans.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Track open orders and expedite or defer deliveries to align with production schedules.

Support cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, R&D, Distribution) on procurement-related needs.

Maintain accurate supplier and material data within Oracle ERP, including lead times and safety stock levels.

Qualifications Education:

Certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, APICS, or Project Management preferred.

Experience:

1–3 years in a procurement or buyer role within a manufacturing environment (GMP or ISO preferred).

Proficiency in Oracle ERP, MRP, and Excel reporting and data analytics.

Knowledge of inventory management, supply/demand planning, and strategic sourcing preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

Self-starter with accountability and problem-solving mindset.

Additional Details:

Duration: Initial contract with potential for extension.

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location: Onsite at client facility.
