Center Director – Childcare – LLE Education Group – Haymarket, Virginia
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Center Director to inspire children, teachers and families in a fast‑paced childcare center.
What you’ll do
Be responsible for the operation of the center in accordance with all LLE Group policies, licensing standards and applicable regulations.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, tuition collection, fundraising and vendor relationships.
Maintain the upkeep of the school grounds and facility.
Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and professionalism.
Ensure staff meet required training hours to meet licensing and accreditation standards.
Develop and execute marketing plans for enrollment growth and program evaluation.
Conduct program evaluations, classroom observations and develop improvement plans in collaboration with the District Director.
Attend meetings as needed to support business and organizational development.
Hire, orient, train, counsel and, if necessary, terminate staff.
Qualifications
Early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, CCP or AAS (Bachelor’s preferred).
Knowledge of child‑care facility laws, rules, regulations, supervision and training practices.
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
At least ten hours of management training and one year of supervisory experience.
Successful completion of the Virginia Pre‑Service Training for Child Care Staff.
Successful background check and compliance with Virginia licensing standards.
