Director, Mobile and Web Solutions and Delivery
will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of mobile-first initiatives, overseeing the development of native and hybrid mobile applications with a secondary focus on responsive web solutions. This position requires a hands‑on technical leader with full‑stack mobile expertise, secure coding and architectural excellence, vendor selection and management skills, and strong business alignment capabilities. The Director will drive teams through the entire mobile and web development lifecycle, ensuring delivery excellence in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
How You'll Shine
Provide technical and strategic leadership for systems and products, understanding how future directions of mobile and web impact the enterprise.
Partner with business functions and the Business Relationship Management team to strategize web and mobile solutions through technology enablement.
Collaborate with developers and solution providers about technology, development, legacy integration and vendor management.
Direct the team in establishing goals, priorities and work plans; manage talent acquisition, performance reviews, coaching and succession planning.
Ensure adherence to formal processes, standards and quality practices, especially security and compliance.
Create a customer‑focused collaborative environment and participate in Process Excellence initiatives to improve efficiency.
Travel Requirements
Travel typically less than 15 % of the time; occasional learning or development trips may be required.
What You'll Bring
College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field (preferred).
Results‑oriented, proactive, analytical, visionary, and able to work through ambiguity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels.
Independent and team‑player with a focus on delivering high‑quality software products.
Extensive experience in full‑stack mobile development, responsive web, and Secure Mobile/Web application design (OWASP).
Proficiency in Java, .NET, Node.js, JavaScript, NoSQL databases and familiarity with Cloud, SaaS, microservices and RESTful Web Services.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, mobile‑centric UX/UI design adhering to Apple HIG and Material Design.
Background in SOA, API‑driven ecosystems and agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies.
Vendor management experience and secondary focus on responsive web systems.
Minimum 10 years of mobile/web development experience, with at least 3 years managing teams; 5+ years collaborating with CTO, CIO, and other C‑Level executives.
3+ years leading highly technical software development teams, onshore and offshore.
