SPA’s Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy’s Program Executive for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy’s Team Submarine Office.

Responsibilities

Support NAVSEA from SPA’s offices in Washington, DC or Dahlgren, VA.

Develop, field, and sustain operationally superior warfare systems.

Perform the full spectrum of warfare analysis, research, development, integration, test & evaluation, and certification.

Provide quality systems engineering and integration for the Department of Defense.

Provide efficient mission and systems engineering in ship and combat systems integration engineering, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), and land-based test site planning and activation.

SPA offers a robust total compensation package including competitive base pay (salary range: $130,000–$190,000) and variable compensation opportunities. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise.

Ten (10) years of experience in conducting detailed, complex engineering activities associated with engineering systems, capabilities, and activities.

Demonstrated experience with functional and system level requirements analysis, requirements generation review.

Demonstrated experience in the development of systems engineering including definition, functional allocation, design development performance for military applications.

Demonstrated experience with development of total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with frequent government customer interactions.

Ability to work collaboratively on a highly technical and fast‑paced team.
