Team & Function Overview Our team is part of the global IT organization, responsible for the design, development, and support of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools that enable our worldwide sales operations. These tools support both direct and indirect sales channels across multiple regions and business units. We collaborate closely with commercial stakeholders to ensure our solutions align with strategic goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support scalable growth.

Our CPQ ecosystem includes custom-built platforms such as

Selection Navigator , a highly specialized solution developed over the past decade to support complex product configurations and integrations. We are currently engaged in a multi-year modernization initiative aimed at evolving this ecosystem and migrating components to more scalable, cloud-native platforms.

What you will do: We are seeking a

Senior Solution Architect

to lead the technical strategy and evolution of Selection Navigator, a mission‑critical component of our CPQ landscape. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about building scalable, performant, and reusable enterprise solutions.

This is a

strategic leadership role

with a mix of responsibilities: approximately

80% focused on architecture, design, and technical guidance , and

20% hands‑on

involvement in prototyping, solution validation, and technical deep dives. You will collaborate with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure our selection tools remain robust, adaptable, and aligned with long‑term business and technology goals.

This role may also include

people leadership responsibilities , such as mentoring and managing a small team of developers or technical leads, depending on organizational needs and candidate experience.

How you will do it: Short-Term Objectives:

Rapidly onboard and gain deep understanding of the Selection Navigator architecture and its dependencies

Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to identify current pain points and areas for improvement

Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, including performance tuning and refactoring legacy components

Long-Term Objectives:

Lead architectural decisions for the evolution of Selection Navigator and its integration into the broader CPQ strategy

Define and promote best practices in development, testing, deployment, and DevOps across the team

Mentor junior developers and potentially manage direct reports

Support and guide the migration strategy toward future platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards

Champion the adoption of AI and automation technologies to drive innovation and efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile You are a strategic and hands‑on technology leader with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and a passion for solving complex business challenges through innovative solutions. You bring a strong foundation in modern cloud technologies, a history of successful system integrations, and a mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and intelligent automation.

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technology field (Master’s degree preferred)

15+ years of experience in enterprise software development and architecture, with a strong focus on scalable solutions

Expert‑level proficiency in:

Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure DevOps, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor)

SQL Server and COSMOS DB

Angular and Microsoft .NET (including .NET Core and ASP.NET)

Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for rapid prototyping and low‑code extensions

Microsoft Graph API for integration with Microsoft 365 services

Visual Studio and GitHub Enterprise for modern development workflows

Strong working knowledge of

enterprise platforms and integrations , including:

Oracle CPQ

Salesforce (SFDC)

MuleSoft

SAP

Snowflake

AI & Intelligent Automation Skills a Plus

Experience integrating Microsoft Azure AI services, including:

Azure OpenAI Service for natural language processing and generative AI use cases

Azure Cognitive Services (Language, Vision, Speech)

Azure Machine Learning for model deployment and operationalization

Ability to identify and implement AI‑driven enhancements to CPQ workflows, such as:

Intelligent product recommendations

Predictive pricing models

Natural language interfaces for configuration and quoting

Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and governance

Experience with data pipelines and model integration using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $112,000 – 150.000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
