The Senior Project Manager plays a key managerial role in the execution of construction projects at Cleveland Electric. The Senior Project Manager reports to a Group Manager/Vice President and is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure projects are effectively managed in accordance with Cleveland standards, policies and procedures. The Senior Project Manager is capable of managing all sizes and types of projects independently or with a project management team. The Senior Project Manager is most often the leader and authoritative voice on any project they are involved in. The expectation of this position is also to be an active mentor and/or coach to less experienced project management staff within the company. Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager is capable of managing all sizes and types of projects independently or with a project management team. Key Responsibilities:

:

Involvement in preconstruction and project estimates as required, including fulfilling the Bid Captain role. Manage the procurement of project bonds and insurance requirements. Manage the planning and execution of construction projects. Manage the development of construction schedules and overall workflow, including the incorporation of activities from other departments (VDC/BIM, prefab, etc.). Manage the development of project financial information including budgets, projections, billing, collections, cash management, invoice approval, etc. Manage project change order creation, review, submission and negotiation. Manage the solicitation of quotations, quotation review and purchasing. Manage the review and compliance with project contracts. Manage subcontract composition, negotiation and management of subcontractors. Manage the permitting and inspection process. Manage the tracking of labor and earned value tracking systems, rentals and material. Responsible for project adherence to Cleveland policies, procedures and processes. Involvement with incident reporting and investigations on projects as necessary. Responsible for tracking project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that the project remains on schedule. Responsible for ensuring that all required project documentation is prepared, reviewed and submitted in compliance with project documents and in accordance with Cleveland standards/best practices. Responsible for ensuring that project documents are stored and accessible to appropriate parties in accordance with Cleveland standards/best practices. Manage Cleveland standards with regard to project reporting (financial projections, labor tracking, cash management, etc.). Direct and support field and project management personnel, helping to resolve issues and facilitate project progress. Provide input during the VDC/BIM and pre-fab processes for constructability and to ensure that project budgets are not exceeded. Monitor the construction activities of Cleveland and its subcontractors to ensure that work is being performed according to the project schedule and adheres to project quality standards. Ensuring that the workforce has the necessary tools, equipment, and information to complete their tasks. Provide dimensions, electrical support, interpretation of drawings and specifications and interpret National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements as necessary. Ensure that QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) functions are in compliance with project and Cleveland quality standards and specifications. Ensure safety functions are in compliance with company and project standards. Facilitate/schedule jobsite meetings to ensure collaboration between project members/departments. Promote collaboration and cohesion between project team members. Attend jobsite coordination meetings and interact with other contractors and customers. Accountable and responsible for overall project and/or project team performance, including financial performance. Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with customer(s) with a goal of repeat business. Manage risk mitigation plans as required. Maintain Clevelands positive reputation in the industry and uphold Clevelands core values. Actively mentoring and training other PMs Actively involved in helping to improve company processes o Providing guidance and assistance to other PMs and project teams as necessary

Education/Experience :

College Degree or relevant field experience is preferred High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 5-7 Years of Experience in a Construction Project Management role

Skills and Abilities :

Demonstrates ability to speak confidently in meetings or other public settings. Ability to manage and resolve conflict. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with project staff. Ability to think strategically and contribute to goal-setting and problem-solving for project execution. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on maintaining accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job. Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with office equipment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure. Thorough understanding of electrical systems, construction activities and flow. Ability to develop, understand and analyze project schedules. Ability to review and comprehend standard construction contract language. Ability to negotiate with customers. Ability to value work (electrical or mechanical depending on the type of project) for estimates and potential change orders. Thorough understanding of industry best practices when it comes to safety and quality. Fundamental understanding of local building codes and National Electric Code. Thorough understanding of Project Management principles. Fundamental understanding of local union contracts or maintenance agreements. Exhibits leadership qualities and shows the potential to lead a team. Ability to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Annual Review and Professional Development:

The Senior Project Manager Senior Project Manager will undergo an annual performance review with their Group Manager (GM) or Vice President (VP). This review will assess the Senior Project Manager strengths, areas for improvement, and progress in achieving professional development goals. The review process may include multiple sessions throughout the year to ensure ongoing communication, support, and opportunities for growth.
