Persistent Systems is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a critical member of the Persistent Program Team. The position will be based in our Ft Collins CO office. This Technical Project Manager will assist the Program Manager to develop and execute a Technical Program Management Plan for assigned programs involving Wave Relay MANET communications for customers ranging from Government, Intelligence Operations, or non-Government for programs such as US Air Force WaRTAK, ROP. This individual will also play a pivotal role in communicating technical challenges to our engineering department as you strive to solve problems. This role plays an integral part in supporting program development as you will have insight into customer challenges and program needs and will work closely across the entire Persistent Systems team including Sales, Contracts, Field Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality. Position Responsibilities Managing all aspects of Government projects, including project plans, project support personnel, deliverables, modifications, updates, and responses Maintaining all project management data, including project plans, project schedules, project budgets, risk management, requirements management, and project tasks Working directly with the Project Specialist and / or other stakeholders to ensure project budget and personnel reporting is accurately reported. Leading project team to execute projects on time, within budget, while meeting customer requirements Liaising between Government Program Manager and other company stakeholders Working with customers to complete required Government forms Working with Program Managers to respond to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and other relevant requests Maintaining understanding of network and communications systems, as well as Government procurement methods Manage, derive, and capture program/project requirements including mechanical and electrical interface design specifications, component requirements, and functional block diagrams Support software and hardware testing Support and facilitate engineering projects including new product/solution development, product changes, and customer integration Work effectively across the company to leverage all functional areas in the design, development, and deployment of Wave Relay MANET solutions Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science other scientific field Project Management Professional certification (PMP), or similar recognized credential 4 years of experience managing technical projects, technical writing, and proposal writing 3+ years of networking experience Proficiency using MS Office and MS Project to manage project execution Experience managing multiple simultaneous tasks and competing priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Knowledge of audio/video encoder/decoders and interfaces Must be available to travel up to 30% of the time Must have or be able to obtain United States Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications CCNA, or other similar technical certifications Masters degree preferred disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other scientific field, or Masters degree in Business Administration Experience in risk analysis and progress reporting Experience working with customer organizations such as large sized Government entities Experience working with mid-size or larger Commercial organizations Experience with Embedded Linux Experience in electromagnetic capability (EMC) testing and design Knowledge of military certification/qualification testing Experience with enclosure/packaging design for hardware Experience with Wave Relay MANET and/or other MANET offerings Experience with the following: MANET or Wave Relay, supporting Line of Site and Beyond Line of Site communication networks, and Land Mobile and Tactical Radio Systems. Understanding of hardware and software concepts, and networking concepts such as IP routing and switching and VPN architectures, and OSI model layers 1-3 Experience with industry-standard project management, analytical, and graphics software/tools such as Microsoft Teams / Access / Visio, Adobe In Design Experience with developing and delivering communications for tactical, infrastructure, or platform integrated solutions (unmanned and manned platforms) Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, such as Infor Clous Suite Industrial (Infor CSI) The base pay for this role can vary from $110,000 to $130,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
