We are seeking a motivated
Civil Project Manager
to lead the planning, design, and execution of educational, sports, and other land/site development projects. The Civil Project Manager will be the primary contact for client interactions and responsible for the quality and execution of projects involving grading, drainage, water systems, wastewater, and roadways. Key Responsibilities: Site Evaluation:
Conduct site visits, prepare reports, assess site conditions, and develop feasibility documents and estimates. Collaboration:
Attend meetings, coordinate with all project stakeholders, and ensure alignment of civil engineering with architectural goals. Regulatory Research:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes relevant to athletic and educational facilities. Engineered Design:
Collaborate on site plans, utilities, drainage, and grading designs. CAD Drafting:
Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD or similar software, including sports fields and stormwater systems. Technical Support:
Manage technical design, calculations, and specifications, including drainage and water systems. Documentation and Reports:
Prepare technical reports and presentations. Project Support:
Coordinate project tasks, prepare status reports, and assist with permits and approvals. Sustainability Focus:
Contribute to environmentally responsible projects. Construction Administration:
Attend meetings, review submittals, observe construction, and assist with project close-out. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field. 5-10 years of industry experience, with Florida land development experience preferred but not required. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and industry software like StormWise, StormCAD, WaterCAD. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of land development codes, environmental regulations, and construction processes. Additional Details:
