Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth in Florida successfully winning work throughout central Florida. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior civil/environmental project manager. Our project managers lead projects and serve as engineer of record and/or technical lead on municipal civil/water resources, stormwater and water/wastewater projects.
Responsibilities include:
Managing watershed master plans, flood alleviation improvements, water quality/treatment improvements, stormwater pump stations, site civil, water/wastewater pipelines, water/wastewater pump stations, minor transportation improvements and other similar type projects
Assisting municipal clients with identifying, pursuing and administering grants and other funding
Assisting clients with bidding of construction projects
Assisting the business development team in pursuing client and project opportunities
Mentoring staff
Assisting leadership in identifying and pursuing new technology and other innovations
Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or related engineering from an accredited college or university and at least ten years of relevant work experience

If no degree, at least fourteen years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Florida PE license
Proficiency with stormwater/water resources design
Proficiency with potable/reclaimed/wastewater distribution/collection design
Proficiency with minor transportation design
Business development experience
Civil/Water Resources construction experience
Be a Certified Flood Manager and/or Envision Sustainability Professional
