At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for the following position in Huntsville, AL. Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
Position Title:
Program Manager
Responsibilities
Working independently, manages all aspects of a program from inception through final delivery of product. Resolves problems, escalating as necessary, and makes recommendations and occasional decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.
Program management also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources, managing links between the program and the overall costs and risks of the program
Builds productive internal/external working relationships
Responsible for all program aspects and ensures program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer’s contract
Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA’s), and business development
Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and cultivate relationships that establish SCI’s consultative approach and promote its total solution capabilities within customers’ and potential customer’s organizations
Understand Sanmina and SCI Technology, Inc. offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina-SCI products or services
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
Minimum of 2 years program/project management experience
Strong program management experience
The ideal candidate will have a "hands on" program management experience with highly technical, detailed programs requiring stringent reporting requirements
Strong business acumen developed through a combination of education and experience
Should be able to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with professionals at all organizational levels
Solid negotiation skills are required for interaction with both customers and internal stakeholders
Ability to be persuasive, while at the same time providing a win/win flavor to all dealings
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
