Senior Tax Manager
Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium‑sized businesses and their owners. The firm currently has 45 offices across 14 states and offers flexible work arrangements to support a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Work with and support the firm’s Director in leading and managing the local team.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients from retiring partners and for new clients.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the firm’s growth initiatives, product and service offerings, and operational strategies.
Review and manage individual, corporate (C‑ and S‑corps), partnership, and trust tax return engagements.
Lead the firm’s consulting and advisory efforts in the region.
Lead and manage staff in research, training, and development.
Qualifications
7–12 years of experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
CPA or EA certification required.
Direct experience managing staff and client relationships.
Excellent communication and attention‑management skills.
Proprietor mentality and strong work ethic.
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in strategy and operations.
