Sales Director
to build and lead a new
Data Center Sales Division from the ground up . You’ll shape the market strategy, forge partnerships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and key integrators, and spearhead growth across a fast-evolving data center landscape. Key Responsibilities Division Setup & Strategy Define and execute the strategic roadmap for entry into the global data center market. Develop the division’s business model, sales processes, and market engagement strategies. Identify high-value market segments (hyperscale, edge, and enterprise data centers). Business Development Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and EPC partners. Identify, qualify, and pursue strategic sales opportunities for Gotion’s energy storage and power solutions. Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and technical-commercial presentations. Partnerships & Market Expansion Establish strategic alliances with OEMs, power infrastructure integrators, and engineering firms. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to tailor solutions to data center requirements (redundancy, uptime, thermal management, energy efficiency). Provide market feedback to inform product roadmap and technology positioning. Leadership & Team Building Build and lead a high-performing sales team as the division grows. Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and growth metrics. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years
of progressive experience in B2B sales within the data center, energy storage, or power infrastructure sectors. Proven success in launching or scaling a new business unit or product line. Deep understanding of
data center power systems ,
UPS/BESS solutions , and
mission-critical energy management . Strong network with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and EPCs in the data center space. Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. Willingness to travel (~30–40%).
