Quality Inspector I-1st Shift

Position Summary The Inspector I will perform entry-level visual inspections and basic functional testing. Responsibilities include ensuring company products meet internal and external specifications through routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies per inspection plans and specifications.
Follow procedural requirements to maintain compliance with applicable Quality System Regulations (e.g., cGMP).
Support the paper document archival process, including preparation and scanning of documents for electronic archival.
Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required.
Assist with NC and CAPA activities as needed.
Work on special projects as they arise.
Knowledge and Skills
Basic computer skills for regular access and documentation.
Basic written and oral communication skills to interact with team members and understand instructions.
Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers, completing 10–15 inspections.
Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards preferred.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
High School graduate or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Work Environment
Essential job functions performed in an office environment.
Long periods of sitting required for data entry and analysis.
Manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Travel less than 5% of the time.
