About The Role Capgemini is recruiting a high‑performance Market Development Executive (MDE) for a portfolio of insurance clients. The MDE will generate new market opportunities for Data and AI services, lead go‑to‑market propositions and business‑development activities, and own the sales process. MDEs carry a revenue target and will be measured on the quality of revenue and total contract value. The MDE will also be responsible for client deliveries, outcomes, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Be a consultative seller of Capgemini’s Insights & Data services and act as an ambassador for the brand promise – ‘Get The Future You Want’ – for our clients.
Partner with insurance clients to enable accelerated digital transformation and business change, leveraging insights and data.
Be responsible for bookings, revenue and business growth in the assigned portfolio of accounts by selling innovative industry solutions that leverage data, insights, and analytics to meet the needs of these insurance clients on their journey to becoming digital insurers.
Proactively engage with C‑level executives at client organizations, take ownership of solving their business problems, and leverage cloud, data, analytics technologies. Organize and lead client strategy workshops, large opportunities and participate in client orals.
Open new logos and expand business in existing logos in the P&C industry primarily but can focus on others such as brokerage, reinsurance, etc.
Work closely with other business‑development resources in Capgemini to shape larger deals and increase market share in the data and analytics space within the insurance industry.
Required Skills
Must be a thought leader who is keen to understand client’s business and data challenges, and propose practical solutions.
Data and analytics sales and delivery experience in insurance is required.
Prior experience working with hyperscalers and insights/data product partners is required.
Ability to win and perform in billable consulting engagements as a partner is preferred.
Ability to think big picture, design transformational changes and proactively shape deals is required.
Able to rapidly mobilize responses to clients and turn around proposals quickly with the support of a lean team.
Need to be within 50 miles of a near Capgemini office or client office, and up to 75% travel may be necessary in this role.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.

The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
