Job Summary In cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff, an Ochsner Staff Physician will provide and coordinate patient care, abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork, and Excellence, and the Responsibilities of the Professional Staff.
Position Ochsner Health in New Orleans is searching for Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) General Anesthesiologists to join our expanding team of physicians practicing the MD Primary model of care. Eligible candidates will have the opportunity to perform up to 75% of their cases solo while working with a mix of residents and CRNAs on the remaining cases. Both new graduates and experienced anesthesiologists are invited to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate patient care in collaboration with clinical staff.
Perform up to 75% of cases solo, working with residents and CRNAs on remaining cases.
Care for complex patients undergoing challenging surgical procedures within our tertiary‑care referral center.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist.
Residency experience in anesthesia (new graduates may apply).
Ability to work with residents and CRNAs.
Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
