Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for clients

Oversee the end-to-end process of tax return preparation

Prepare, review, and plan for federal and state tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit)

Conduct financial statement analysis with tax-focused adjustments

Meet with clients to discuss returns, planning, and tax strategies

Represent clients before the IRS when necessary

Analyze and respond to IRS notices

Create and review workpapers

Prepare tax estimates and projections

Qualifications:

CPA license required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution

Master’s degree in Taxation or Finance preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience with complex tax returns (Forms 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 990)

Strong proficiency with tax and project management software

Experience with QuickBooks (desktop and online)

High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability

Strong leadership and communication skills

Motivated, detail-oriented, and ethical

Essential Functions:

Act as a liaison across business lines and client services

Provide clients with data-driven best practices and support

Ensure timely and accurate information flow

Manage correspondence and direct internal communications

Maintain professionalism in all interactions

Handle confidential matters with discretion

Participate in weekly administrative team meetings

Support leadership with special projects as needed
