We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join our workforce in Chicago. This role is onsite at our Chicago office and will report directly to the Head of Trading, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the organization’s trading processes.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage proprietary system of trade-based alerts and escalate accordingly
Develop and enhance trading strategies based on knowledge of market patterns
Extract and analyze market data to develop innovative core analytical tools and quantitative models
Define and assess model specifications and data collection methods for optimum reliability and effectiveness
Apply statistical and analytical knowledge to address potential issues in current risk and hedge performance techniques and tactics
Create and implement high-performance, multi-threaded applications
Collaborate with global risk team to further understand and predict market trends, driving productivity and overall department cohesion
Requirements:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field required
1-3 years of work experience within the Trading industry, preferably with implementing and enhancing trading strategies
Strong experience with complex scientific computing, algorithm development, and pattern recognition
Exceptional programming skills with Java, C, and C++, as well as scripting language such as Perl, Python, and UNIX shell
Experience working with a trading team that focuses on FX, Equities, Options, and Commodities

Compensation: $105,000 - $120,000 salary per year
