International Corporate Bank is looking for a Senior Credit Officer to manage a team of Credit Analysts for the Bank's Asian Corporate Banking Department.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include and are not limited to leading and managing Credit Analyst team, which is in charge of analyzing clients' financial and business information, preparing credit application and credit monitoring application, communication with CDAD, executing credit documentation, and ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio management.
Responsibility also includes training of junior credit analysts and educating RMs to enhance department wide knowledge and expertise related to credit management.
This person also will provide leadership management necessary to ensure that JDAD continues to strengthen credit controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to efficiently grow the organization.
Requirements
A minimum of 15 years experience of institutional knowledge and products and broad knowledge of corporate banking.
Bilingual in Japanese is a must.
A Bachelor’s degree with academic distinction and coursework in economics, financial accounting, and corporate finance or its equivalent.
Additional degrees and/or certifications such as CFA or MBA a plus.
Good understanding of the Asian Corporate Banking business and broad knowledge of bank products.
Oversight and preparation of credit applications and credit monitoring in conjunction with the credit department, the risk management department and compliance.
