AECOM is seeking talented
Senior Civil Engineers
for our Sacramento office as part of the Buildings + Places practice. Responsibilities include overseeing project tasks, developing technical concepts and designs, and preparing reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates. Projects may include healthcare facilities, federal, science and technology, higher education, sports and recreation, transportation, or infrastructure for a variety of clients including government agencies and private entities. Lead planning, design, evaluation, and review of project tasks. Collaborate effectively within diverse teams. Gather and analyze engineering data using established procedures. Work on complex or routine engineering assignments, solving issues with limited supervision. Propose innovative approaches and develop new techniques and procedures. Identify discrepancies and provide guidance to junior engineers. Manage work within budget and schedule with minimal supervision. Coordinate with other disciplines and make autonomous decisions guided by policies and objectives. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Civil Engineering plus 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Valid US Driver’s License; must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review. Preferred Qualifications
Registered Professional Engineer in California or able to register within 1 year. Experience with site/civil design projects, calculations, and design documents. 8+ years of experience in civil engineering and building development projects. Experience with permitting, site/land development, and construction phase services. Additional Information
Sponsorship is not available. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $155,000 based on qualifications and location. About AECOM
