We represent a global asset manager looking to hire an attorney with 1-2 years of experience to support the Residential Real Estate Loans business.
Candidates should have experience with general lending and/or real estate lending with law firms and/or in-house legal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal support to facilitate the whole loan trading process, ensuring the accurate execution and delivery of trade documents, notices, and related materials. Oversee the organization of all fund-related entities, manage secretary of state filings, formations, annual reports, and management of registered agents, and ensure effective internal record-keeping. Manage and update all legal databases and other records related to fund documents, agreements, assets, and corporate structures. Support the due diligence process for loan acquisitions, focusing on title and survey issue resolution and regulatory compliance. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for loan acquisitions, sales, and servicing agreements, ensuring compliance and protection of the firm's interests. Provide legal support in handling disputes or litigation, including foreclosure proceedings and other legal actions, related to the loan portfolio. Seniority Level
