As a Senior Design Engineer at Sikla USA, you will be involved in all engineering activities within the team, collaborating with sales, customers, and other engineering professionals to develop, coordinate, and supply innovative solutions. You will contribute to expanding our product ranges into new markets. Key Responsibilities
Design small to medium structures using relevant standards and 3D software, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Review customer requirements and ensure timely delivery of designs. Present structural calculations and verification reports to clients and partners. Develop detailed 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD 3D. Participate in BIM coordination meetings. Create construction drawings, material lists, and coordinate with warehousing for material delivery. Handle technical inquiries and develop technical documentation. Assess project feasibility through design and cost estimation. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Automate and improve internal engineering processes for efficiency and accuracy. Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, mechanical engineering or related fields. Experience with BIM environments and proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and Revit. Knowledge of structural engineering concepts and analysis software is preferred. Strong IT skills and understanding of US building codes (e.g., ASCE). Willingness to travel within the US and Canada as needed. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Employment Details
