AsaCFISeniorAssociate,you’llassist clientsbyapplying traditional andcutting-edge valuation approaches and methods to a variety of analyses– all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.You will perform valuations of financial instruments such as equity instruments in complex capital structures, options, warrants, redeemable debt, convertible debt and embedded derivatives, and contingent claims, such as earnouts and contingent considerations,utilizing statistical and financial concepts such as Black-Scholes model, Monte Carlo simulation, and binomial lattice model. From day one,you’ll be empowered bythe greaterCFO Advisory team tohelpclients make the moves that will help them achieve their visionand help youachievemore, confidently. Your day-to-day may include: Perform valuation analysis and modeling Utilize advanced statistical and financial concepts inbuilding models including Monte Carlo simulation, binomial lattice model, and real options Oversee and perform data- and document-intensive financial analysis and modeling/projections, economic and statistical analysis, valuation analysis, and industry research Oversee and perform research toestablish positions on valuation matters, document management, referencing from source documents to analysis, and file preparation Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively Maintain active communication with engagement teamregarding interim and final deadline, percent of completion, etc. Other duties as assigned You have the followingtechnical skills andqualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative disciplinerequired Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross industry clients at a national level with experience in business valuation andfinancial instrumentsrequired Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel required Progression towards certification/license such as CFA or other quantitatively intensive certification and valuation credentials such as CVA, ABV preferred Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Stata, C++, R, R Studio, Python withNumpy, Pandas,and/or MATLAB experience preferred Highly analytical withexpertise in financial analysis and modeling, econometrics, statistics, and regression analysis Accounting, finance, financialengineering, and economics knowledge;proficiency in US GAAP or IFRS preferred Can travel as needed.
