Tenderloin Housing Clinic . 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants. Responsibilities include: Providing excellent customer service and front desk reception to staff, clients, and visitors. Providing detailed administrative support to the HR Department and other departments as requested. Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and stock of the HR office common areas, including copies of frequently used documents. Monitoring office security cameras and seeking assistance when needed, including contacting San Francisco “non-emergency” services. Assisting with the distribution of paychecks. Arranging, assisting in preparation for, and scheduling trainings and meetings. Creating documents and maintaining systems for various administrative/HR functions. Maintaining electronic and hard copy files. Scanning, filing, copying, mailing, and creating packets and mailers as requested. Making mail runs, deliveries, and visits to sites in the Tenderloin, SOMA, and Mission areas. Processing employee pay advances and commuter checks. Assisting with processing HR forms and requests such as employment verifications, direct deposits, I-9s, W-4s, employee record changes, employment requisitions, and transfer requests. Monitoring the fax machine and ensuring incoming faxes are directed appropriately. Coordinating the distribution of monthly birthday and anniversary notices, as well as seniority awards. Processing temporary staffing requests and coordinating with staffing agencies. Supporting HR recruitment, leaves, benefits, and learning and development tasks. Collaborating with the HR team on priority projects and addressing emerging issues. Assisting in the development and maintenance of HRIS. Responding promptly to phone messages, tenant/client requests, staff requests, and emails. Maintaining confidentiality of employee records and concerns. Attending scheduled meetings and taking detailed notes. Essential Qualifications include: High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of administrative support experience. At least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to complete paperwork accurately and write business correspondence. Problem-solving skills. Experience with databases and data entry. Ability to interpret manuals, policies, and instructions. Customer service and reception skills. Fluent in English, both written and oral. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong organizational and filing skills. Ability to pass background checks, reference checks, and TB screening.
