We are looking for a Turbomachinery Engineer to enhance our Propulsion Development team. This role is critical in developing and optimizing advanced propulsion systems to meet our goals. Responsibilities include developing and qualifying air-breathing propulsion systems, supporting flight testing, and owning turbomachinery components from design to analysis. Responsibilities:

Own critical turbomachinery components and oversee design, analysis, manufacturing, and assembly collaboration. Research and develop aircraft engines, combustion, and fuel injection systems. Conduct aerodynamic and thermodynamic analyses. Develop turbomachinery solutions meeting manufacturing, cost, weight, and schedule goals. Lead projects from conception to testing and validation. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. At least 5 years of turbomachinery engineering experience. Knowledge of internal combustion engines fundamentals. Experience with 3D modeling of compressor geometry. Experience with engine or powertrain testing. Expertise in aerodynamics and thermodynamics of turbomachinery. Proficiency with Siemens NX or similar CAD software. U.S. Person status required. Preferred Skills:

Experience with air-breathing propulsion systems (small jet engines, APUs). Experience with turbomachinery analysis tools (AxStream, Concepts NREC). Experience with aerodynamic rig testing and stage matching using CFD tools. Knowledge of Turbine Cycle Analysis (NPSS). Experience designing or testing air-breathing combustors and turbomachinery.
