Under the supervision of the Urban Farming Coordinator, installation team members facilitate the implementation of urban agriculture projects in their region. Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Horticultural Management: Transport materials and plants to production zones. Assist in opening garden spaces during installation. Maintain cleanliness during installations. Perform tasks such as watering, trellising tomato plants, installing support and irrigation systems. Representation and Administration: Represent the company as part of the installation team. Assist in setting up production areas. Follow safety protocols for agricultural operations. Application Timeline and Start Date:
Application and interview period: January 1st, 2025, to March 10th, 2025. Work begins: March 17th, 2025, at 8:00 AM. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must be willing to: Perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting. Work outdoors in warm conditions. Operate in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Work long hours and get hands dirty. Candidates Must: Be in good physical condition. Have access to reliable transportation or a personal vehicle. Own a functional cellphone. Have an interest in agriculture or gardening. Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $23/hour. Work hours vary between 4 to 8 hours/day (10:00 AM–6:00 PM). 30-minute paid lunch break daily.
