Senior Facilities Project Management Specialist
in
El Segundo, CA . In this role, you will lead facility projects from planning to closeout, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, develop plans, and manage project execution within scope, budget, and schedule. You will monitor progress, communicate updates, identify risks, and ensure support is in place. Your responsibilities include analyzing variances, managing schedules, projecting cash flow, tracking costs, overseeing construction activities, and acting as the main contact for internal teams, contractors, and partners. You will also support change management, project closeout, and lessons learned, with opportunities to contribute to organizational best practices, mentoring, and cross-functional reviews. Position Responsibilities: Develop and formalize integrated project management plans, including team charters, work structures, quality plans, change management, and project closure controls. Lead project planning based on PMBOK principles. Manage change control processes to document and approve deviations. Define project scope with standards, regulations, and procedures, and support contract scope creation. Support construction projects through supplier selection, proposal review, and performance monitoring. Translate customer requirements into design documents and estimates. Identify materials, equipment, and services using engineering principles. Manage project expenditures within budgets and ensure supplier compliance. Ensure regulatory compliance and support permit acquisition. Monitor milestones for timely completion. Develop cost estimates and resource plans. Establish communication flows with stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks. Lead team meetings and ensure workflow continuity. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years in operations, facilities management, maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or project management. 3+ years in Facilities or Construction Project Management. 1+ year in stakeholder communication and collaboration. 1+ year in strategic and operational project initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification. Project Management Certificate. Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software. 3+ years with Microsoft tools. Experience with Procore or similar maintenance software. Experience in budgeting and forecasting. Additional Information: Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace. Pay Range: $115,600 - $156,400.
