Senior Staff Software Engineer
in the Personal Lines IT organization. The team is passionate about technology and aims to build well-architected, innovative solutions. The role involves leadership, design, and development of systems supporting Personal Lines business needs, with an emphasis on agile practices. Responsibilities
Lead technical teams in Scrum, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects. Address technical risks proactively. Design and document solutions aligning with business and architectural standards. Mentor team members and enforce best practices. Coordinate with stakeholders and developers for complex solutions. Conduct technical reviews and code quality checks. Develop and work with REST APIs, SOAP Web services, XML/JSON data structures, and related technologies. Utilize .NET, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, Angular, JSON, and SQL in development work. Experience with Duck Creek Suite products and relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle is preferred. Leadership Functions
Guide IT design and development teams. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture. Support multiple work streams and prioritize tasks. Develop guidelines for requirements gathering. Lead enterprise solution implementation. Minimum Requirements
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field with 10-12 years of application development experience. 7+ years in application design and solution analysis. Experience with cloud applications (AWS preferred), Duck Creek products, CI/CD, and Agile frameworks. Strong skills in high concurrency applications, front-end technologies, XML/JSON standards, and insurance domain knowledge are advantageous. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday). Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. #J-18808-Ljbffr
