Location: Spokane, WA | Department: Transportation Unmatched Comp Time Policy:
Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO. We seek a talented individual to join our transit team, focusing on transit design projects across the mountain west, including heavy rail, light rail, and bus rapid transit. Our team is based in Utah, and we aim to expand our regional presence. Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties
Lead transit design projects from concept to construction-ready plans, specifications, and estimates Manage meetings, communications, and technical issue resolution Develop and review design submittals for standards compliance Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and visual aids Maintain project documentation and support client relations Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field (required) PE certification (required) 10+ years relevant experience (preferred) Strong background in transit design, including rail and multi-modal connections Experience with industry standards and public transit agencies Leadership and client development skills Effective communication skills Benefits
