YOUR ROLE
Support the operational, financial, and quality performance of the CEVA Network station. Identify inefficiencies, collaborate with the local team to address them, and deploy action plans to sustain improvements.
Manage Operational Excellence programs and certification for the station(s). Support and mentor the Operations team, foster process development, standardization, and lead continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, and PDCA. Collaborate with country and regional BPE teams.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean methodologies.
Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and develop corrective actions.
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion.
Monitor and develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
Develop and implement SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.
Maintain records of improvement activities and report progress.
Conduct training sessions on Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
Lead the station's road to excellence within the Ground "Transport Classification Assessment" program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Lean initiatives.
Work with Local/Regional BPE/IT teams on tools and processes, promoting their adoption.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Model and act in accordance with CEVA's guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Qualifications: Supply Chain, Lean, Engineering, or Transportation training, including practical or on-the-job training.
BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, Management, or Administration.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, e.g., Transport operations or Lean/Continuous Improvements.
Experience managing Transport or Logistics-related improvements and IT projects.
Knowledge of Transport operations, Freight Management, or Contract Logistics and warehousing.
Process engineering and management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
