We are currently seeking a Locum Veterinarian to join our teams in Topeka, Kansas. Position Overview:
As a Locum Veterinarian at Western Veterinary Partners, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive veterinary services, including examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures. This position is perfect for a veterinarian seeking flexible scheduling options and the chance to be part of a few dynamic teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough health examinations and diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients. Conduct surgeries and dental procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and provide wellness care. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' health and well-being. Maintain accurate medical records using practice management software. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional care. Ensure compliance with all veterinary standards and protocols. Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid Kansas veterinary license or eligibility for licensure. Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred. Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
