Rate: $55/hr W2 **** This resource will need to be flexible working at both our Fremont and Livermore locations **** The Operational Technology Systems Administrator will support the technology, security, and process guidance for Lam's labs and cleanrooms. The focus of this role is to assist end users in the Lab environment and provide effective IT/OT systems to meet business requirements. Responsibilities include managing the oversight of engineering infrastructure (security controls, applications, network services, computer systems, file storage, IoT, Azure Cloud, etc.), and defining, executing, and monitoring overall delivery, reliability, and performance of these systems to support the lab's success. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and global teams to develop and implement secure technology solutions supporting lab operations. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Model Company's core values Ensure projects and directives supporting business needs are implemented promptly, track and report progress, and escalate issues as needed Manage and support all computing and network equipment in the lab/office infrastructure Develop, implement, and maintain a roadmap for all computer devices in the Lab environment, aligned with global GIS policies and engineering requirements Collaborate with global Lab support teams through hosting and attending sessions Provide 1st and 2nd level support, acting as a point of contact for IT services and escalations, interfacing with vendors when necessary Monitor system performance and perform tuning as needed Deploy, implement, and support hardware and software following approved procedures and standards Use GIS Change Control processes to document the status of the engineering lab environment, including asset management and tracking, aligning with corporate and vendor requirements Participate in GIS projects to test, pilot, and implement new hardware and software in support of lab activities Maintain technical skills in relevant areas Monitor and report on system and network policy compliance Create and maintain detailed documentation and technical diagrams Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications: 5-7+ years supporting enterprise heterogeneous computing environments Excellent communication skills for collaboration with customers, GIS, and external vendors Preferred experience in semiconductor/high-tech/research industries Experience working in a clean room environment is a strong plus Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field 2-4+ years installing and configuring Windows Servers, Windows 10, 7, XP, and legacy NT, as well as Unix/Linux systems Experience managing network connectivity, including remote access 5+ years managing connectivity infrastructure and services Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues Security and Access Control Administration experience Understanding of security infrastructure best practices Experience supporting diverse security infrastructure (Access Control, PKI, Firewalls, Anti-virus) Knowledge of networking, servers, storage, cloud, IoT, robotics, RFID, VR/AR technologies, Zebra printers Preferences: Safety-focused mindset Experience in a clean room environment Self-starter with minimal supervision Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Team player at all levels Ability to handle confidential data following policies Analytical and problem-solving skills Physical ability to move and lift equipment as needed Droisys is an equal opportunity employer.
