Chair of Surgery - St Francis Hospital
Start Date: ASAP Available Shifts: M-F Pay Rate: $600,000.00
Experience a premier surgical leadership opportunity in a vibrant academic environment. Trinity Health Of New England, one of the largest Catholic health systems in the US, and Saint Francis Hospital Department of Surgery seek a board-certified surgeon to serve as Chair of Surgery. You'll oversee a comprehensive surgical department while maintaining your clinical practice with approximately three half-day sessions per week. Opportunity Highlights Lead a dynamic team of 60-70 employed surgical providers as Chair of Surgery at Trinity Health Of New England's flagship hospital. Practice at a prestigious teaching hospital affiliated with UConn and Quinnipiac medical schools. Enjoy an ideal mix of 60% clinical, 30% administrative, and 10% academic responsibilities. Work at a state-of-the-art facility featuring 16 main ORs, 5 ambulatory ORs, and 3 surgical robots. The incoming Chief of Surgery will mentor the next generation of surgeons through residency programs and specialty fellowships while shaping surgical growth strategies.
