We are seeking a Physician/Radiologist to work at Ethel Lund Medical Center in Juneau. The role involves interpreting radiology images across multiple modalities for various SEARHC locations. The radiologist exercises independent judgment, uses voice recognition systems for reports, and collaborates with healthcare providers to enhance patient care. The position may require interpreting films outside regular hours and making final interpretations. Key Responsibilities: Interpret radiographic examinations, including spine, extremities, head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis, and perform fluoroscopy and interventional procedures. Interpret mammograms and perform procedures such as needle localizations. Interpret ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN, abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and vascular studies. Supervise and interpret CT scans, approve contrast dosages, and pre-approve all CT and MRI orders. Participate in medical staff functions, quality assurance, and educational programs. Collaborate with the radiology team to develop standards and processes. Qualifications: Four years of clinical experience post-residency. Training in diagnostic radiology, including CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound. MD or DO degree, with AMA-accredited radiology residency completion and board certification. Current BLS certification and Alaska state medical license. Skills and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of radiologic modalities and digital imaging systems.
