$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Position Summary This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with our core values: Integrity, Accountability, Best Practices, Compassion and Synergy. The employee shall support Long Beach Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. This role will include but not be limited to: Providing clinical expertise to direct the nursing process within the Oncology specialty population on behalf of the patient and family. Providing mentoring, coaching and collaborating to advance evidence-based nursing practice to staff. Collaborating throughout the organization to identify opportunities and implement strategies to support clinical innovation. Each Clinical Nurse specialist will identify specific competencies reflective of the needs of their patient population. Pay Range: $63.35/hr - $90.51/hr Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience: Three years pf related clinical experience in Oncology specialty. Education/Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California. Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist by the State of California. Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association. ONS/OCN certification highly preferred. About the company
